Avital is an experienced investor and neuroscientist. She is a Principal with aMoon Fund, the largest Health Tech fund in Israel. At aMoon, she initially worked on growth investments in private biotech and digital health companies and then joined a new public fund. In her current role, Avital is part of the team that is building the public fund and forming its strategy. Avital is a Board Observer at AltruBio and among the investments she took part in are Omada Health, Satellite Bio, and Sera Prognostics. She is passionate about women’s health and is helping lead aMoon’s investments in the field. Avital completed her PhD at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, studying reinforcement learning in the basal ganglia, and her postdoc fellowship at NYU Medical Centre, researching cortical memory in learning and sleep. Her research was published in high impact scientific journals including Neuron and Nature Neuroscience.

Prof Dr Suhail Fatima, who harbored a childhood dream of becoming a doctor but also gained acclaim for promoting Indian traditional Unani treatment in the modern world. Till now, she has effectively treated 40,000 patients through these traditional techniques. Beyond healing patients, she has also contributed as an educator, having taught over 35,000 children, significantly impacting India's healthcare landscape. In addition to her medical accomplishments, Dr. Fatima has actively participated in various medical camps, awareness walks, and counselling programs. Through these initiatives, she has raised awareness about Unani medicinal treatments, reaching and educating more than 20,000 to 25,000 individuals and contributing to disseminating knowledge about Unani medicine to a broader audience in India.
